What each visitor needs
- A phone with an internet connection (mobile data or wifi).
- Their own headphones, wired or wireless.
- Nothing else: they join by scanning a QR code, with no app to install and no account.
When an audio guide system still makes sense
If the group has no mobile coverage during the tour (a cave, a basement with no signal) or visitors don’t carry a phone, an audio guide system is still the better choice. Everywhere else, especially with groups that speak several languages, ViuTour saves equipment, time and a second guide.

Can I use ViuTour just as an audio guide system, without translation?
Yes. Original audio is included in every plan and doesn’t use language hours.
What if a visitor has no headphones?
They can listen with the phone close to their ear, but we recommend each visitor brings their own. Many already do.
